Ubuntu Music is delighted to announce the signing of pianist John-Paul Muir, for the release of his album, Home Now, on 8th November 2024.
John-Paul is an award-winning New Zealand pianist and composer who currently resides in London. His landmark new album, Home Now, features Brigitte Beraha, “one of the most creative vocalists on the UK scene” (BBC Radio 3). The line-up consists of George Crowley (Yazz Ahmed) on bass clarinet and tenor saxophone, and a rhythm section of Jakub Cywiński (Ola Onabule, Partikel) on double-bass and Eric Ford (Imogen Ryall, Partikel) on drums. The album was beautifully recorded by Stefano Civetta at School Farm Studios (England), mixed and mastered by Bobby Williams, with videography and photography by Pedro Velasco (Freeze Productions, London).
