MINDTHEGAP Trio - DISTANT SIGNALS (2024)

Our debut album introduces an eclectic mix of 8 songs telling different stories but all linked by a red line created by the cinematic music style. Starting with the mesmerising APOLLO 11, an introspection to space travel, continuing then in the same dimensional mood with ETERNAL ESCAPISM that makes the transition smooth into DISTANT SIGNALS, one of the most complex songs on the album, the story continues with an acoustic piece, MOTHERLAND, that was made by Stefan as a tribute to beautiful TRANSYLVANIA. Than we come back in full force with DAYS BEFORE, another cinematic story piece followed by WARRIOR, the statement anthem song of the album. The journey ends with ROBO KNIGHT, a song inspired by the robotic movement of Da Vinci's visionary automation and then EPILOGUE, a beautiful ambiental song that brings the feeling of a new beginning.
