Toronto-born, Brooklyn-based Julia D'Angelo, is a multi-faceted artist weaving music, film, and dance into her creative projects. With an ear heavily rooted in jazz and folk legends from across the years, Julia D'Angelo's musical work is a harmonious blend of past and present. Genre-hopping from heavily produced synth-pop to organic, live-off-the-floor arrangements, her songs find themselves connected through her focus on lyricism and storytelling, unconventional rhythmic phrasing, and inflections of smoke-tinged vocals.
