Eyjólfur is a member of Voces Thules, ensemble which specialises in Icelandic and European medieval contemporary music.
He has since become active in the field of ethnomusicology with a special focus on the Icelandic langspil. The unic traditional instrument from Iceland, a three stringed drone zither.
