Irish folk and ambient are combined on Seanteach to stirring and bucolic effect, evoking the modern nostalgia of folk in a similar way to Lankum. The album is the first by violinist, member of psych-folk four-piece Quade, and producer Tom Connolly, who here imbues his strings-led pieces with the energy of the Irish coast, marine folklore, and his familial relationship to Ireland.
