Judit Pixner Quartett - Jazz, du hast die Gans gestohlen (2024)

The South Tyrolean singer and teacher is releasing an album of jazzed-up children's songs on CD on Three Saints Records!

With her new children's song album Jazz, du hast die Gans gestohlen, the talented South Tyrolean vocalist Judit Pixner and her quartet are bringing fresh impetus to the world of children's songs. Her mission is clear: children need good music that not only entertains, but also promotes cognitive and social development. The album combines well-known children's song classics in jazzy arrangements, sung in four languages, and complements them with original compositions. A special highlight are the cheerful children's voices, which were recorded in collaboration with a children's choir from the Merano music school. Additional musical variety is provided by the South Tyrolean jazz musicians Michele Giro, Flavio Zanon and Roman Hinteregger.

They lend the arrangements a lively note, while Judit Pixner's gentle voice radiates warmth and harmony. Renowned guest musicians such as Herbert Pixner on accordion also contribute to the album's special touch. Released as a CD on the label of her namesake Herbert Pixner, Three Saints Records!
