Preussische Staatskapelle Berlin, Herbert von Karajan - Bruckner: Symphony No. 8 (1994)

It still seems almost fantastic that the first stereo recordings appeared not in the 60s, not even in the 50s, but in the early 40s of the last century. The distribution features a fairly well-known recording of Bruckner's Eighth Symphony conducted by 36-year-old Herbert von Karajan. And this is one of the deepest, most soulful embodiments of it. Alas, the media from the first part are considered permanently lost.
