Yorkshire-based guitarist Henry Parker and Cardiff-based guitarist David Ian Roberts met in 2019 during tours across England and Wales, promoting their folk-influenced albums *Silent Spring* and *Travelling Bright*. Their shared love for Nick Drake, Ryley Walker, Genesis, and John Martyn inspired them to collaborate through improvisation, leading to the creation of an album featuring original steel-string instrumental compositions. The music blends elements of traditional folk, psychedelia, and progressive rock with the minimalism of acoustic guitars.
