Hiro Ama, a Japan-born, London-based composer and multi-instrumentalist, and member of Teleman, has announced his debut solo album *Music for Peace and Harmony*, set for release on October 4 via PRAH Recordings. Inspired by the chaos of the modern world, he crafted soothing music using a 1980s Japanese synthesizer called the Waraku.

The album blends electro-acoustic textures, warm melodies, and elements of classical romanticism, spiritual jazz, and electronic music. It features contributions from British singer Keeley Forsyth and flautist Gail Tasker. A standout aspect of the album is its organic sound, incorporating the Japanese harp (koto), Jupiter 8 and DX7 synths, and textures created by humming drum parts instead of using traditional drums.

Nature plays a central thematic role, with tracks like *Find Me In The Nearest Forest* and *Forest Bathing* inspired by the Japanese practice of *Shinrinyoku* (forest bathing). Guided by Debussy’s idea that “music is the space between the notes,” Hiro emphasizes simplicity and spaciousness throughout the record, making it a serene exploration of peace, beauty, and natural harmony.
