This is Dina Grundberg's second album, Otäckt överkänslig (Disturbingly Oversensitive). The music flows between heavy tango, jazz waltz, and sturdy swing. In the lyrics, everyday life takes center stage, throwing itself on the floor, screaming. Dina Grundberg is happy! And grumpy. Worried about her finances. Wants to move out. Live somewhere with a view of optimism. Is she just human, or disturbingly oversensitive? Dina Grundberg is a singer, composer, and lyricist from western Sweden. She made her album debut in 2022 with Jag ljuger mest om allt (I Lie Mostly About Everything). She tours across Sweden and has also arranged for big bands, performing her own music with the Bohuslän Big Band. On Otäckt överkänslig, she has arranged for a larger ensemble and collaborates with nine musicians. The songs cover everything from being unable to keep a secret to dealing with separation anxiety. Anger, jealousy, joy, and love are all present. With a groovy backing band, a playful brass section, and guest musicians, Dina Grundberg finds her own musical landscape—somewhere between cabaret and jazz poetry. Here, boredom, silliness, and the deepest seriousness sit down for coffee together.
