Fazal Prendergast, High Times Players - High Music Showcase (2023) [Hi-Res]

Fazal Prendergast was a legendary Jamaican reggae musician, guitarist, producer, and studio engineer. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1959, he played a crucial role in shaping the reggae and dub scenes, working with icons like Augustus Pablo, Mutabaruka, and Earl “China” Smith. As a lead guitarist, he contributed to numerous international reggae hits, collaborating with top artists and producers.
In the 1980s, Fazal toured extensively with Mutabaruka and later moved to the U.S., where he continued producing and recording reggae music. His studio, Venus One (DP Studio), became a hub for both established and emerging reggae artists.
