Karl Strømme - The Moonfish (2025) Hi-Res

The Moonfish is Karl Strømme's third studio album and on this release he has collaborated with Andreas Bratlie on Tabla and drums.
The music consists of improvised melodies and bass lines, as well as many fun analog and digital synths. The duo Strømme and Bratlie are both graduates of the Norwegian Music Academy, where Bratlie has studied classical percussion and Strømme has studied jazz trumpet. The Moonfish is inspired by many genres from Dub, to Contemporary Music and with trumpet and tabla as two common threads throughout the album, this music becomes something completely unique.
