From their first creation in 2016 to this album release at the Théâtre de la Choucrouterie, the complicity of the two musicians has led them to play more and more new compositions. Until finally recording them, today. Here, no coating, we are looking for something raw. We opt for substance rather than form, based on a minimal instrumentarium: a saxophone, a Rhodes. The music of (Parenthèses), sober and played halfway between a certain praise of slowness and bubbling, draws its energy from the explosion possible at any moment.
