Bob Kenmotsu is a trio of Stockton, California-born tenor saxophonist Bob Kenmotsu.
The lineup is impeccable: David Wong (b) and Rodney Green (ds).
The artist first came to the attention of Japanese fans in 1997 with the import album "Looking at Air" released by AMOSAYA RECORDS, which became a hot topic of discussion among enthusiasts.

During his time in New York, he was a member of Pat Martino's Nightwings, performing with Bill Stewart and Mark Johnson. He currently resides in Berkeley, California, and performs in jazz clubs primarily on the West Coast, as well as touring Japan each fall.

This album showcases his smoky, thick, melodic and soft tenor in full, performed in a trio, the freest format available to brass players. Tenor fans should check this out!
