Guillaume Lopez, Clément Rousse - Thouxazun e convits (2025) [Hi-Res]

After almost a decade, Guillaume Lopez has released a new bal folk album called "Thouxazun e Convits" with the collaboration of young accordionist, Clément Rousse. Following their previous album "Canard-Isard," the duo Thouxazun brings us a collection of 16 tracks that are both traditional and modern. The album features guest stars, including musicians from the new generation of traditional musicians, as well as Guillaume's companions from jazz, classical, and North African music backgrounds. The album is designed for both dancing and listening, inviting the audience to reflect, share, and live together through Guillaume's engaging and poetic lyrics. The tracks were recorded in the Toulouse region and offer Gascon and vagabond compositions as well as traditional dance tunes from the Pays d'Oc repertoire. Overall, "Thouxazun e Convits" is a collaborative and versatile musical experience.
