Los Babriks - El Vuelo Del Babrik (2025) [Hi-Res]

The band Los Babriks presents their debut album El Vuelo del Babrik, which blends Latin American musical influences. Combining elements of chicha and reggae guitar style, the band creates a unique sound that takes listeners back to the golden era of cumbia and chicha. The album impresses with its precise instrumentation and authorial execution. Guitar melodies, organ elements and psychedelic sounds create a melodic and hypnotic groove. A special role in creating the sound of the album is played by Hector Tapia Castillo, who not only plays percussion instruments, but also adds vocal elements and a bachata track. Mixing of the tracks was done by aDUBta on an analog console, giving the album a vintage feel. Mastering was handled by Umberto Eco. The album will be released on April 4, 2025 and will be available on all digital platforms as well as a limited edition vinyl release.
