Last Leaf Down - Weight Of Silence (2025) [Hi-Res]

Swiss band **Last Leaf Down**, originally founded in 2003 with a doom metal sound, shifted towards shoegaze after vocalist/guitarist **Benjamin Schenk** joined in 2007. Their dreamy, atmospheric style earned acclaim with their 2014 debut *Fake Lights* and the 2017 follow-up *Bright Wide Colder*, solidifying their place in the shoegaze and post-rock scene. Known for performances at major German festivals, the band returned in December 2024 with *“Silence”*, a reflective single previewing their upcoming album *Weight of Silence*. After years of experimentation and growth, Last Leaf Down embarks on a new creative chapter, blending alternative rock, shoegaze, and post-rock with emotional depth and renewed passion.
