The electroacoustic duo with a classical background, is releasing their debut album "Reality"—a captivating blend of personal references and magical realism that will transport listeners to an entirely new sonic universe!

TLÖN is the musical duo of Sara Övinge and Gregor Riddell, both classically trained musicians who have spent the past decade pushing the boundaries of genre. Their music blends violin and cello with field recordings, poetry, and spoken word, creating immersive soundscapes that blur the line between the acoustic and the abstract.

Inspired by magical realism and the works of Jorge Luis Borges, their name comes from Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius, a story that distorts reality in a mesmerizing way—much like their music. TLÖN takes familiar musical references, manipulating and reshaping them into something entirely their own.

Their compositions are deeply personal, featuring intimate field recordings: a fetus’s heartbeat, the rhythm of a partner snoring, the hum of an old coffee machine, or the echoes of a ring hitting the ground. These elements weave together to create music that feels like reading a short story—rich, atmospheric, and hauntingly evocative.

With TLÖN, nothing is as it seems—only as it sounds.
