Alaide Costa - Alaíde Costa, Uma Estrela para Dalva (2025) [Hi-Res]

Alaíde Costa, the legendary Brazilian singer and one of the pioneers of bossa nova, is preparing to release her new album titled Uma Estrela para Dalva (“A Star for Dalva”). This project is a heartfelt tribute to Dalva de Oliveira, one of the greatest singers in the history of Brazilian music.

Uma Estrela para Dalva will be officially released on May 9, 2025, under the Deck Discos label. The album features interpretations of classic songs performed with warmth and deep respect. Among the tracks are “Ave Maria no Morro,” a duet with Maria Bethânia, and “Há Um Deus,” recorded in collaboration with young pianist Vitor Araújo. This project fulfills a long-cherished dream of Alaíde Costa and marks the celebration of her 90th birthday.
