Lorenzo Bianchi Hoesch, Amir ElSaffar - Inner Spaces (2025) [Hi-Res]

INNER spaces is a collaborative, modular composition and live performance project by trumpeter/santur player/vocalist/composer Amir ElSaffar and electronics performer/composer Lorenzo Bianchi-Hoesch. It weaves together predetermined structural elements with freely improvised sections, set within a microtonal, electro-acoustic sound world that merges electronic and acoustic textures.

Drawing on jazz, contemporary classical music, maqam, raga, and other musical traditions, ElSaffar and Bianchi-Hoesch seek “boundary-less” spaces—honoring each idiomatic language’s richness and complexity without dilution. The result is an immersive sonic environment that transcends conventional genre and form distinctions.
