Rocío Márquez's new single "Aire – Tangos" is a vibrant, modern take on traditional flamenco tangos and serves as the second preview of her upcoming album Himno Vertical. The song begins with a spoken-word intro and evolves into a catchy chorus featuring clever wordplay, blending classic flamenco with contemporary elements. Her expressive vocals are supported by elegant guitar, crisp percussion, and precise palmas.

Himno Vertical will explore flamenco forms like fandangos, tangos, and soleá, merging them with experimental sounds and literary texts by Shakespeare, Juan del Encina, and Schiller. Guitarist Pedro Rojas Ogáyar contributes both Spanish and electric guitar.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Márquez continues to redefine flamenco, known for her acclaimed albums Firmamento, Visto en el Jueves, and Tercer Cielo (with Bronquio). Her collaborations and film work highlight her broad artistic influence and commitment to innovation within tradition.
