A California native, Shannon ‘ SAXMAN’ Murray is a master of the «Cool Jazz» idiom, a style of music that became a mainstay in West Coast Jazz scene in the 1950’s. Incorporating African rhythms and modal harmony into his original compositions, SAXMAN brings West Coast Cool into the 21st century as an innovative contemporary music idiom.
