U.S. West Coast based latin-jazz ensemble, led by José Rizo.
This is a 16-piece band made up of Latin jazz masters including Poncho Sanchez, Francisco Aquabella, Alex Acuna and Justo Almario. Based on the West Coast, the band also includes some of the best arrangers in the business who produce exciting, richly textured original material (including hot salsa cuts and a charanga) enhanced by a powerful brass section and percussion section. They also perform fresh renditions of Dizzy Gillespie's "Bebop" and Lee Morgan's "Caramba."
