The album features classic recordings made at the legendary Studio One.

This is the first-ever compilation dedicated entirely to the music of The Sound Dimension — combining well-known hits with ultra-rare singles previously released only in Jamaica.

Alongside The Skatalites, The Sound Dimension were arguably one of the most important groups in reggae history.
Their relative obscurity is explained by the fact that they served as Studio One’s anonymous in-house band, backing the stars of the day — the reggae equivalent of Motown’s Funk Brothers.
