Farah Kaddour, Marwan Tohme - Ghazel (2025)

Ghazel is the debut album by Lebanese duo Farah Kaddour (buzuq) and Marwan Tohme (guitar, electronics) — a sparse and intimate collection of improvised compositions born from a live acoustic set in 2022. Recorded between Beirut and the mountains of Lebanon, the album explores Arabic folk motifs through an experimental, minimalist lens.

Kaddour’s expressive buzuq is both grounded and exploratory, while Tohme's guitar and electronics offer subtle textures, noise, and ambient depth. Together, they weave a fragile and evolving sonic fabric — contemplative, melodic, and richly atmospheric. Ghazel is a meeting of hearts and sounds: a dialogue in motion, a sonic breath caught and shared.
