This European bop session was actually led by pianist Henri Renaud. Milt Jackson has a generous amount of vibraphone solos and is also heard playing piano on three selections; he even takes a vocal on "The More I See You." Tenor-saxophonist Al Cohn pops up on four of the performances but the most impressive soloist throughout this out-of-print LP is the great trombonist J.J. Johnson who often steals the show.~Scott Yanow
