Including the hidden masterpiece "YOUNG AND CAREFREE", a masterpiece under his solo name is reissued! The beautiful green jacket of this album is impressive. The soft-rock based M-1, 3, 8, and 9, and the Wall of Sound via Jack Nitschke on M-5 and 10, are his masterpieces from the latter half of his career. The highlight of the album is M-12, a beautiful ballad with a flowing melody, familiar from Tatsuro Yamashita's airplay list, which vividly reminds us of the vision of that summer day. The bonus track "NEW DIRECTIONS" (under the name of GARY LEWIS & THE PLAYBOYS), which was released in the same year (1967), is included in its entirety. The refined music of the later period is a masterpiece, and the solid craftsmanship on M-13, 14, 21, and 23 is the work of Nick DeCaro in his mature years. Commentary:Shigo Marume
