For the Point Of Entry tour (titled ‘World Wide Blitz Tour’) Priest performed at New York’s Palladium, 22nd July of 1981, recorded to broadcast at the famous “King Biscuit Flower Hour” for promotional purposes. This Alive The Live release is taken from the original physical sources > sound quality is top notch.
Promoting new material alongside now legendary Priest Classics, the entire gig presents a roaring slice of British heavy metal hell with Judas Priest – they really put one of their finest shows from the era.

Early in 1980 the band’s sales and charts finally began to rise in the US, and after the release of their studio album “Point Of Entry”, they focused on the American market and performed in the US on the “World Wide Blitz Tour” with about 60 shows.
”Live In New York 1981” uses the audio from that KBFH broadcast, and contains the complete concert including medleys and encores.
