Antone’s is 50 this year. Thats 50 years of Blues at Antone’s. That's 31 years of Clifford Antone laying the ground work, and 19 years trying to carry on his mission. That is ‘playing the blues’, but it’s deeper; it’s celebrating folks who deserve greater recognition. Putting them in the spotlight and giving them their flowers. It’s finding the right young artists to pair with them and establishing torch carriers. This album encapsulates that mission. It is “We Went Live In ‘75.”

We Went Live in '75 showcases rare recordings from the club from Jimmy Rogers, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins and a then-unknown Gary Clark Jr. Finally, a red, white and green single-sided 7" includes a take on Howlin' Wolf's Willie Dixon-penned dd"Three Hundred Pounds of Joy" by Los Lobos.
