With his band Santiano, Hans-Timm "Timsen" Hinrichsen has placed no less than eight #1 albums in the German charts. On April 25th, the solo album appears: "Vun Hier" And yet the singer is an incredibly down-to-earth type. The reasons for this are manifold - and yet all have one origin: its origin.
Timsen grew up as a farmer's son in a small village on the Schleswig- Holstein geest. Even today he lives in a village near Schleswig.
His home connection is not only geographical: Low German is Timsen's language of the heart and an essential part of his identity. When he counts, it is not "two and two is four" but "twee un twee sünd veer". With his solo album "Vun hier", Timsen goes new ground yet back to the origins. An album full of home sounds, but also full of openness. Timsen shows himself here as an independent artist who combines tradition with new influences - real, direct and completely from here.
