Yazmin Lacey has shared her new single ‘Wallpaper’, the latest preview of her upcoming album Teal Dreams, which arrives on 24th October via AMF Records. Known for her evocative lyrics and rich, soulful voice, Lacey’s new track draws on her Caribbean heritage. ‘Wallpaper’ reimagines the sound of Lover’s Rock – a genre popularised in Britain in the 70s and 80s by artists such as Janet Kay – and filters it through a modern lens. The result is both a nod to tradition and a refreshing update, placing her influences in dialogue with contemporary production.
