Mouseatouille - DJ Set (2025) [Hi-Res]

Mouseatouille are a nine-member Melbourne-based band. Initially a fuzzed-out, lo-fi cassette recording, high school project. The band quickly grew in size to satiate their appetite for intricate arrangements and dense instrumentation. They oscillate between considered and delicate indie folk and raucous noise rock; guitars, synths, brass, violin, clarinet, keys, bass and drums are all called upon. As a live act they have opened for Australian artists such as Floodlights, RVG and Katie De. They were also personally selected by Black Country, New Road to support them on the full run of their Australian tour. They've also played sold out shows with Chicago based fifth wave emo legends Your Arms Are My Cocoon in Sydney and Melbourne, and collaborated on a single with Post Office Winter (from Chicago's Hallogallo collective). Mouseatouille's new album 'DJ Set' works to retain their high school spirit. Through endless recording sessions in a garage, a sharehouse kitchen and a parent's lounge room, Mouseatouille synthesise the care and precision of orchestral arrangement with the spontaneity and carelessness of getting together with your friends to make music simply because it's fun.
