The Swedish Ethio Jazz and global groove band Langendorf United returns with a new album, "Undercover beast," following their successful 2023 debut. The group is led by saxophonist Lina Langendorf, who honed her skills in Ethiopia and Mali, where she performed with legends like Mulatu Astatke and Toumani Diabaté. The band's music is a powerful and spiritual combination of Ethiopian rhythms, modal jazz, and primal groove, created by an all-star lineup of Scandinavian jazz musicians. Their sound has been described as "ferocious, making you sweat and headbang."
