This collection features a selection of works composed between 1983 and 2020 in both analogue (until 1996) and digital studios. It is a compendium of various genres, excluding works with lyrics. Created for a sculpture exhibition, dance or theatre performance, remix of a composer friend's work (Francis Dhomont), tribute to a 20th century revolutionary (Claude Debussy) or virtuoso piece for spatialised interpretation on a sound projection console, they all have one thing in common: acousmatic composition and listening.

They therefore appeal to the imagination and memory of the attentive listener. Music of Meaning rather than Music of Sound.

This album also bears witness to the path travelled over 40 years. While it has evolved alongside the technological capabilities of an electroacoustic studio, the aesthetic choice I made at the age of 33 to embark on the hidden and discreet, but poetic, paths of acousmatics, rather than remaining on the royal road of instrumental composition has remained steadfast.

It is clear today that an acousmatic work responds to the paradigms that mark our Western era: illusion or reality? True or false? Original, recreation, or copy? Sensation or logic? Is it real time, immediate, improvised or delayed, reflected and written?
