Nora Mekemeza - MLMZ II (2025) [Hi-Res]

MLMZ II is the second EP by Gabonese singer and composer Nora Mekemeza, released in October 2025 on the independent label TSINE PRODUCTIONS. The album continues the artistic direction initiated in her debut release MLMZ (2022), delving deeper into the jazzboma genre — a fusion of traditional Fang music with jazz, blues, and folk.

Themes explored in the album include introversion, love, loss, self-acceptance, and connection to her homeland, Gabon. The recording features Evens Mab (guitar), Bénilde Foko (bass), and Bébé Sanou (percussion). Arranged by Thierry Mvié and mastered by Russ Hepworth-Sawyer. The second single “Ma Yi Wa” was released on October 2, 2025.
