Rising singer/songwriter Noah Hicks today releases his new project, “Small Town Does.” With a barbed-wire vocal and a tough-as-nails country/rock sound, the fourth-generation native of Carrollton, Georgia, infuses the collection with authentic grit and modern country storytelling.

Out now via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, “Small Town Does” features eight co-written tracks – from hard-working anthems bristling with heavy-duty intensity to slow-rolling backroad ballads feature smoldering, R&B-laced desire – pairing a pounding heart and Hicks’ deep country credentials with an electrifying modern edge.

Listen to “Small Town Does” here or watch the “Might As Well Be Gone” lyric video here.

“From top to bottom, this project is meant for the back porch, the driver’s seat with the windows down, and getting out and breathing fresh air – all while having these songs turned up to 10,” Hicks shared. “I think if you live the stories in these songs, you will see why I wrote them and you’ll understand them.”

“Small Town Does” features three previously released tracks: “Small Town Does,” which shines a light on how the hand-me-down clothes and backyard beers shaped him into the man he is today; “Get Enough,” a “captivating” (Country Swag) track that depicts the throes of a tumultuous on again/off again relationship; and “Country Tonight,” a song about itching to ditch the hustle and bustle of the city for the calm of the country.

Hicks will kick off his headlining “Small Town Does Tour” in Nashville tonight. The 16-date trek will continue to cities including Buffalo, Chicago, Baltimore and Philadelphia before concluding in Athens, Georgia, on Nov. 5. Tickets are on sale now at noahhicksofficial.com.

This fall, Hicks is partnering with Love Your Melon, TB1Fund and Blythe Brenden to bring hope, comfort and community to children facing health challenges to support Love Your Melon’s mission to give a beanie to every child battling cancer. Throughout the “Small Town Does Tour,” the organizations will deliver Love Your Melon hats to children undergoing treatment at five leading children’s hospitals in cities where Hicks is set to perform. He recently joined the organizations in Minnesota to pass out beanies to kids and their families and perform a few songs. See the video here and Hicks’ social post here.
