Florian Arbenz - Moon (2025) [Hi-Res]

Swiss drummer Florian Arbenz is releasing the album "Moon" on October 10, 2025, as part of his Convergence project. Recorded in Basel, the album merges Swiss precision with Cuban and European musical traditions. The recording features his brother Michael Arbenz, accordionist João Barradas, bassist Rafael Jerjen, and Cuban musicians Maikel and Jorge Vistel. The music combines original compositions, Cuban rhythms, European harmony, and modern jazz improvisation, creating a virtuosic and spontaneous sound. The project is built on a long-standing friendship and collaboration among the musicians, presenting a modern jazz that respects its historical roots.
