Mohammad Reza Mortazavi - Nexus (2025) [Hi-Res]

Iranian virtuoso percussionist Mohammad Reza Mortazavi is releasing a new solo album titled Nexus. The artist, known for his innovative approach to the traditional Persian drums tombak and daf, incorporates vocals and electronic effects for the first time in this work, expanding his exploration of rhythm and sound. Mortazavi himself describes the album's concept as a "point of convergence" where different energies connect, transform, and make the invisible world audible. The album, recorded in Berlin and released on the Latency label, continues the musician's creative development and his engagement with the experimental electronic scene.
