Radjha Ally - Niinee (2025) [Hi-Res]

Mozambican singer-songwriter Radjha Ally has released his debut album, "Niinee," which translates to "Come dance." The album, released during the 50th anniversary of Mozambique's independence, addresses themes of human connection, injustice, and war. Ally's musical style is a fusion of Afro and Afro-jazz, rooted in the traditional Tufu rhythm from his native Nampula region. After winning a national TV contest in 2020 and a successful performance at IOMMA in 2022, he was signed by the French label Accords Croisés for a European release. The album, produced by Paulo Chibanga, blends traditional African motifs with contemporary arrangements, establishing Radjha Ally as a significant new figure on the African music scene.
