Tony RIVERYMAN is a young professional guitar player, coming from Scandinavia. Although he studied music in a pop-jazz academy, has played in a heavy-metal band, and still plays in a dance band in his home Finland, what we're talking here is definitely symphonic Progressive rock music ! ""Magic World"" (Musea, 2009) is influenced by the likes of YES, PINK FLOYD, GENESIS or SPOCK'S BEARD. Here are eight songs, and most of them are around ten or fifteen minutes-long. You'll find here all that symphonic music lovers appreciate: bombastic keyboards, grandiose atmospheres, fiery guitar soli, dynamic drumming and complex musical structures, played with enthusiasm. A special mention to the guitar work, as it can easily be heard that there's a guitar virtuoso in here, sometimes in a Steve HOWE manner. A really magic musical world !
