Mr. Käfer, a prominent European instrumental hip-hop artist, is making a significant creative evolution with his third solo album, 'A Past Sense', set for release on November 11th via Melting Pot Music. The album moves away from his signature lo-fi aesthetic toward a more lush, collaborative sound that spans continents and genres. Mr. Käfer's sixth project for Melting Pot Music is a 14-track musical journey that blends elements of hip-hop, soul, jazz, and North African rhythms. The album features collaborations with artists including Novine (GER), J-Tek (US), Kenji (US), and Cloudhead (AT), marking a shift from his previous mood-driven, jazz-tinged instrumental releases. Thematically, 'A Past Sense' explores the connection between memory and evolving identity. The visual component, crafted by photographer Robert Winter, captures the album's progressive yet nostalgic spirit, which will also be available on LP.
