Saied Silbak - Oud for Palestine (2025) [Hi-Res]

Saied Silbak's latest album, "Oud for Palestine," reimagines well-known Palestinian folkloric songs, performed by an intimate trio of Oud, double bass, and Arabic percussion. The album features six traditional pieces alongside the original composition "Voices from Gaza," written in response to the ongoing events in Gaza. Utilizing fresh arrangements and his signature Oud playing, Silbak deliberately strips away the lyrics to make a powerful instrumental statement of solidarity with Gaza and a celebration of Palestinian culture, emphasizing its memory, resilience, and beauty.
