Tara Lily - Quiet Nights (Early Takes) (2025) [Hi-Res]

British-Bengali musician Tara Lily and King Krule released their collaborative EP, 'Quiet Nights (Early Takes)', on November 7th. The work features shadowy, hypnotic soundscapes that blend jazz chords and warped synths. According to Tara Lily, the project—which includes tracks like “Tropical Storm,” “Flying To Kolkata,” and “Corcovado” (the latter paying homage to a bossa nova and jazz standard)—consists of "early sketches" from a "quiet and beautiful period." The EP's release coincides with Tara Lily's first UK & EU tour, where she is promoting her critically acclaimed debut album, 'Speak In The Dark'. That album artistically reflects her experience with ADHD, fusing elements of jazz, electronica, trip-hop, alternative R&B, and Indian soundscape. King Krule (Archy Marshall) is a Mercury Prize-nominated indie music veteran from South London, known for his distinctive style and cult following.
