the Man from Atlantis - Volume II (2025)

The album Vol II marks a return to a more traditional song form, following the experimental electric, psych release 'Tainted (the lockdown years 2020 - 2022)’. It serves as the continuation of the psych folk album Vol 1 (2021) and further explores the depths of the human experience. The record is essentially an outsider folk recording, offering a meditation on love and hope. Musically, the album draws on elements of psych folk, cosmic country, blues, and psychedelia, despite including introspective and 'downer' tracks. The bulk of the material was written and recorded in Melbourne during the 2020-2022 lockdown. The recording features drummers Simo Laihonen and Larry De Zoeta, and upright bass player Tommaso Rolando.
