Seven years after their last record release, Mora & Bronski return to the scene with Underdogs Vol. 1, their fourth album.
The new project includes a collection of ten tracks from the repertoire of well-known and lesser-known authors from the American blues, country and folk scene.
The Emilian duo, composed of Fabio Mora (voice) and Fabio “Bronski” Ferraboschi (guitar), has three albums to their credit: Naif (2014), 2 (2016), both released for Busker, and 50/50 (2018), released for Merlone / AZ Press. Before embarking on this parallel artistic path, the two musicians played for twenty-two years in the Italian pop-rock band I Rio, respectively as voice and bass.
Since 2014 Mora & Bronski have dedicated themselves to a personal musical research that combines the charm of the great American classics with unpublished songs, moving naturally between blues, folk and author's song. Their sound, initially built on an essential basis of acoustic instruments, hand clapping and stomp, began to evolve already on the 50/50 record, where the first electronic contaminations between break-beats and samples appear.
