With “Jazz in the Suburbs”, the Blue Monday Trio transforms the suburbs into a poetic and musical dimension — not just a physical place, but a state of mind, filled with experiences and rebirths.
The project ideally continues the journey started with their previous album “Looking at Michel” (2023), dedicated to Michel Petrucciani, where the trio explored the inspirational force of modern jazz masters.

In this new work, the focus shifts toward personal and collective experience: the suburbs as a space for creation and freedom.
Each composition tells a story of urban life — a mosaic of emotions that the trio translates into rhythm, harmony, and improvisation. The result is an authentic, emotionally rich record where jazz becomes a universal language of identity and belonging.
