Svaleheim is the debut album by the new Nordic duo Fliid/McKenzie, bringing together Danish-Norwegian vocalist Adine Fliid and Australian-rooted cellist Adam McKenzie. The record is an acoustic exploration of Nordic identity, where traditional folk meets elements of classical chamber music and blues.

Performed entirely in Norwegian, the album consists of eight tracks featuring both original compositions and reinterpreted traditional melodies. The sound is built around the dialogue between voice and cello, complemented by guitar and double bass. Thematically, Svaleheim immerses the listener in a world of northern landscapes, personal memories, and ancient myths, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and natural magic.
