Artur Tuznik Trio - Artur Tuźnik Trio (2016)

Artur Tuznik TRIO is Artur's first full-length album under his own name. It contains 9 compositions by his authorship, recorded in the RecPublica studio during a 3-day session. In addition to the leader, the trio consists of Danish musicians Nils Davidsen and Jakob Høyer, highly regarded on the international scene of jazz and improvised music. The album is available on October 11, 2016 through the Polish Publishing House Multikulti.

Tuznik moves away from the post-Coltrane style towards a sound inspired by impressionist language and Scandinavian freejazz and folk music. In original, minimalist compositions, often with an open form, the trio presents the original sound, energy and virtuosity of three outstanding individuals with rich achievements in the field of jazz and improvised music.

Using the art of composition combined with the virtuosity and experience of the Danish rhythm section, Tuznik presents a well-coordinated band, capable of combining intense energy, dynamic improvisations with lyrical, almost meditative ballads.
