The "Drone Prompts" EP series, initiated by vintage credenza (John Russell), constitutes an experiment within the abstract and ambient music genres. The concept involves transmitting a unique sonic prompt to guest musicians who interpret the material freely without creative restrictions; methods range from layering textures to rendering the source completely unrecognizable. The second installment of the series features eclectic compositions created in collaboration with Ghostwoods, ff8282, Chris Perren, and Timothy Fairless.
