Rabbit Hole is the debut full-length album by the international trio of the same name, led by Finnish saxophonist and composer Pauli Lyytinen. The project stands as a bold experiment at the intersection of jazz and electro-acoustic music. The album's sound is shaped by a blend of saxophones and Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI) with processed piano, synthesizers, and intricate rhythmic percussion. The musicians create immersive sonic worlds inspired by the surrealism of Lewis Carroll, where compositions flow seamlessly into free improvisation, crafting an experience of diving into an alternate reality.
